What kind of rental car can i get in an accident?
What kind of rental car can I get in a car accident? Someone ran into my and it is completely their fault according to police report. I am filing a claim and I need to get a rental while my car is in the shop. Is there a limit to what kind of rental car I can get? Such as a $ limit or a car comparable to the one I have involved in the accident? And should I have to pay first and have insruance pay me back or should I somehow foward the bills to their insurance? Thanks for any help!
When we got in an accident, we were entitled to a rental that was comparable to our vehicle that got hit. We had a 4Runner and ended up getting a TrailBlazer for a rental. You can upgrade, but then you have to pay the difference. It may depend on your insurance coverage or the coverage of the other person too.
