How do I renew the rental agreement for a condo?

I have a quick question regarding RE-NEWING the rental agreement for a Condo. I have a current rental agreement with the owner of my suite for a year, and time is almost up.

For the people who have re-newed their rental agreement with the owner for a condo, do I need to prepare the same documents (i.e. pay stub, employment letter, credit check) that I have done when I first signed the agreement, or is it going to be simpler this time, since I am basically renewing the rental agreement? Could someone please let me know what I need to prepare when re-newing?
