Can a rental car company charge a card you used on a previous rental?
I got into an accident. I was 100% prepared to pay the damages (00) in payments, like discussed with the manager. The card that the car was rented on was maxed out. They went ahead and charged a card that I had used once to extend the rental (we do monthly rentals and extend weekly). So, the only authorization they had on paper was for the original card. They only had a verbal copy and authorization on the second card. Is it legal to charge that 00 to the second card?
Deduct travel expenses from tripif photographing scenics & submitting them to stock photo businesses?
I’m a retired pro photographer and want to travel (with my husband as assistant) and take photos to submit to stock photography companies. Scenics, local cultures, wildlife, etc. How much of my travel expenses can I legally deduct from my USA income tax? Opinions? Experiences?

I have about 2-3 months left to live in my current house, since the owner is losing the place. I have no money saved for a move, but starting this month, I will begin saving my rent money…so it’s not really an issue. The problem is, that i’ve noticed many houses use an agent for their rentals…How does a rental agency work?

How did people travel long distances during the 17th century?
Would an aristocrat travel on a ship? Would a trades man travel by sea? The people I’m speaking of are of the upper class and have aristocratic background. By long distances I mean from country to country. For instance from Bordeaux, France to Rome, Italy. How would they travel? How long would it take?
What car rental companies are good about one-way rentals?
I would like to fly into Las Vegas, rent a car, drive it to Denver, and then fly out of Denver. With a lot of car rental places, you have to return the car to the same place you rented it, but are there some car rental companies that will let you rent it from Point A and return it to Point B?
